Job summary

Stanley Consultants in Chicago, IL seeks a Drainage and Water Resources Manager to lead planning, design, and project delivery for drainage, flood control, and water quality initiatives.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, mentor staff, review designs and calculations, interact with clients and agencies, and develop scopes, budgets, and schedules, while advancing best practices across the firm.

Qualifications

• Expertise in drainage design, stormwater management, and water resources planning.
• Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools and related software.
• Experience leading projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Knowledge of regulations and permitting processes at all levels.
• Strong writing, reporting, and design document review skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage and water resources design and project delivery in multiple projects.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to develop scopes and budgets.
• Mentor staff and review design documents, reports, and calculations.
• Support proposal development and manage schedules/resources.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to best practices.
