You will mentor staff, set project priorities, and may serve as Project Manager for key initiatives, while advancing career development and maintaining a strong focus on safety, ethics, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all staff activities within an engineering section.
• Assigns priorities and balances workloads among staff members.
• Coordinates and monitors labor utilization and section loading calendars.
• Responsible for quality control of work produced by the section.
• Recommends hiring, salaries, promotion, transfer, demotion and termination of section members.
• Oversees staff development and opportunities for training and career growth.
• Ensures project assignments are completed on schedule and within budget.
