Job summary

TGG Accounting in Clinton Township, MI, is seeking a Lead Technician to install, troubleshoot and service commercial overhead doors and loading dock equipment. You will work hands-on on new construction and service projects, often with a fellow technician on site.

You'll measure openings, meet customers, and ensure high-quality workmanship while traveling to jobs across the area. A strong emphasis on safety and documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Lead Technician or 5+ years overhead door/loading dock experience.
• Direct overhead door and/or loading dock experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial overhead doors and loading dock equipment.
• Work on new construction and service/repair projects.
• Load materials at the shop and transport to job sites.
• Measure openings and verify equipment requirements.
• Meet with customers and complete assigned work.
• Diagnose equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Document work and take site photos with an iPad.
