Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Manager, Operations to coordinate day-to-day activities in our distribution facility. The role focuses on achieving facility goals, supervising hourly staff, and delivering excellent service.

The shift runs Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with responsibilities across safety, cost control, quality, and process improvement. You will partner with IT and other departments to optimize workflows, manage inventory, and ensure consistent, high‑quality performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading distribution teams and driving safety, quality, and cost control.
• Proven ability to analyze data, trends, and forecasts to improve operations.
• Strong communication with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the distribution department with a focus on meeting goals and targets.
• Build and coach high-performing teams of hourly colleagues.
• Generate and present reports to management on key metrics and progress.
• Collaborate across shifts to ensure smooth handoffs and efficient operations.
• Maintain inventory control and safety/compliance programs.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and service levels.
