Job summary

River City Construction seeks a Distribution Overhead Lineman 1st Class for Ocean Isle, NC. This on-site role supports overhead distribution work at multiple locations and may require travel to other states.

Responsibilities include leading crew in the absence of the Foreman, installing components on high voltage systems, and performing safe, physical labor while complying with safety rules. The position is safety sensitive and requires readiness for overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of recent field experience.
• Lift more than 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime and travel.
• Willingness to glove/work live high voltage power lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew members in the absence of the Foreman.
• Set poles and anchors.
• Install transformers, switches, insulators, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot primary and secondary systems.
• Safely work around energized HV systems.
