Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Supervisor Distribution Services to lead field engineering staff, design electric distribution and sub-transmission projects, and ensure compliance with tariffs, standards, and codes.

You will manage designs within budget, coordinate with divisions, support storm/restoration efforts, and drive safety and reliability improvements while pursuing division goals and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; Electrical engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of utility operations engineering experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Strong leadership, customer service, analytical thinking, decision-making, communication, planning and prioritizing, and human relations skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; working knowledge of corporate applications (OAS, CSS, DOJM, ADMS, Synergi) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, develop, and evaluate field engineering staff.
• Manage safe and timely designs and estimates within budget for sub-transmission and distribution projects.
• Perform distribution planning and engineering analysis to identify capacity or operational deficiencies and plan improvements.
• Review field notes and designs with engineers, field staff to resolve issues.
• Assess the physical condition of sub-transmission and distribution systems and recommend safety-focused replacements/upgrades.
• Coordinate major system initiatives and serve as project manager ensuring safety, standards, timelines and budget compliance.
• Provide support for storm assessment/restoration efforts.
• Contribute to division goals and cost-control improvements.
