Job summary

Tampa Electric is seeking a Supervisor Distribution Design to lead the DDTs, DDEs, and contract partners in designing and engineering distribution projects. The role ensures codes, safety, and company standards are met while aligning with TEC energy delivery objectives.

The position requires a decade of distribution design experience, completion of Levels I–V training, and a relevant degree or equivalent work history.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years’ distribution design work experience in progressively more complex technical assignments.
• Must have completed Levels I through V of the Distribution Design Technician training curriculum or equivalent training with another utility.
• A relevant college degree may be considered in lieu of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and engineering activities for LUG, FH, DWPR, and DWPI projects to meet codes and standards.
• Mentor staff in design, project management, and safety practices; manage budgets and invoices.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
