Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Dispatcher to support daily transportation operations by coordinating drivers, planning routes, and ensuring safe, compliant service. You will supervise CDL drivers, oversee dispatch activities, and communicate with customers and internal teams to maintain on-time deliveries.

The ideal candidate has experience in dispatching within a DOT-regulated environment, strong organizational and data-entry skills, and proficiency with routing software

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a dispatcher in transportation/logistics.
• Familiar with DOT regulations.
• Experience leading CDL drivers.
• Proficient with routing software and dispatch systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Manage outbound shipments and oversee timely, accurate dispatch activities.
• Supervise and support a team of CDL drivers to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve service issues.
• Assist with customer billing and related documentation.
• Monitor and evaluate driver performance and provide coaching as needed.
• Schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain equipment readiness.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Participate in the recruitment and interview process for driver and helper roles.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, customer interactions, equipment status, and other operational data.
• Conduct or support regular training sessions on safety, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Assist the Transportation Manager with administrative tasks, reporting, and other responsibilities as needed.
