Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years or more of experience with DOT and driver routing; 2+ years in logistics/transportation preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation environment (shipping, receiving, inventory management, dispatch) advanced preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse/software applications and dispatch systems advanced preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead dispatchers to answer questions and guide the shift.
• Address customer issues and resolve problems within scope; escalate when needed.
• Backfill for dispatchers as required and ensure daily forms are completed.
• Provide training for new hires and ongoing staff training.
• Monitor productivity and report to management when goals are not met.
