Auto Driveaway, a leading national provider of professional vehicle relocation services, seeks an energetic Operations Manager in Lenexa, KS to oversee dispatch operations and drive efficiency. You will motivate drivers and office staff, coordinate vehicle services, and ensure client satisfaction with on-time pickups and deliveries.

The role requires strong management, logistics, and communication skills, with travel 2–3 times a year and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate multi-tasking, prioritize tasks across divisions, and communicate effectively.
• Strong logistics skill set and operational planning abilities.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 times per year for meetings.
• Active Driver's license with a clean MVR is required.

Responsibilities

• Motivates a staff of professional drivers and office personnel.
• Evaluates vehicle condition and coordinates services (detail, maintenance, body repair).
• Tracks and manages active vehicle services in the ERP system.
• Maintains relationships with vehicle service providers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Completes title and registration services for Auto Driveaway and clients.
• Assigns drivers by evaluating orders and driver availability.
• Analyzes client orders to meet client needs and timelines.
• Ensures up-to-date communication in internal systems.
• Monitors dispatch performance and responds to service level issues.
• Coordinates delivery times with customers to maximize satisfaction.
• Ensures driver schedules balance efficiency and workload.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with FMCSR, state and local laws.
• Develops emergency contingency plans and ensures asset security.
