Job summary

The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Disaster Recovery Services Case Manager Supervisor to coordinate and deliver a temporary assistance project providing long-term follow-up for disaster survivors.

You will supervise up to seven case managers and work with local partners to ensure timely access to resources and smooth referrals. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $55,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a human services field with two years of related experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse cultures.
• Leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise disaster recovery services at agency centers or in community settings.
• Generate and refer resources, track utilization and facilitate referrals.
• Assess eligibility, complete intake forms, provide disaster-related financial assistance, and document cases.
• Coordinate with The Salvation Army and other agencies, possibly presenting to committees.
• Implement long-term recovery plans with disaster survivors leading to elimination of needs.
• Input data into SIMS and CANs systems; ensure timely data entry.
• Monitor spending and collect statistical data and reports.
• Substitute for other Disaster Recovery Services workers as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Safe From Harm guidelines.
