Job summary

Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a Director of Graduate Nursing Program to lead the MSN and DNP curricula, ensuring adherence to the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) standards. Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree required (PhD, EdD, DNP, etc.), Master's if doctorate is not in nursing.
  • Current licensure in discipline in Nebraska or a compact state.
  • Minimum of 2 years in higher-education administration or management.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a faculty member in higher education.
  • Minimum of 2 years with curriculum development and course delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Directs MSN and DNP curricula, ensuring compliance with ACEN.
  • Supervises graduate nursing courses and manages more than 30 faculty.
  • Oversees department operations and budget management.
  • Collaborates with academic and service directors to support the college’s mission.
