Job summary

Cleveland State University’s College of Health and School of Nursing invites applications for a full-time clinical track tenure-eligible Associate Director of Graduate Programs, open rank. The position oversees all nursing graduate programs, including APRN and MSN tracks, in a growing urban university setting.

Qualifications

  • Earned doctoral degree in nursing or closely related field from a nationally accredited institution.
  • Active unencumbered RN license and eligible for Ohio licensure.
  • Five years nursing experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teaching experience in nursing education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide academic leadership for all nursing graduate programs and ensure curricula align with AACN Essentials and NONPF competencies.
  • Coordinate graduate program leadership, faculty, and support services to ensure program quality and accreditation.
  • Oversee student progression, retention, graduation, and certification outcomes; address progression concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, state boards of nursing, and regulatory guidelines; maintain documentation and reporting.
  • Promote scholarship and faculty development; support governance and tenure processes as appropriate.
  • Manage budget, resources, enrollment planning, and instructional capacity for graduate nursing programs.
