Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director for Cloud Platform Engineering within Digital Engineering. You will own multiple platform teams powering product delivery, setting AWS strategy, security posture, and cost management.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering.
7+ years of experience leading engineering teams, managers, and technical portfolios.
5+ years of hands-on AWS at enterprise scale experience - compute, networking, IAM, and managed data/messaging services.

Responsibilities

Set cloud platform strategy and multi-year AWS roadmap with stakeholders.
Own AWS security architecture, landing zone design, and governance for regulatory compliance.
Lead AI adoption for engineering tools and platform operations with governance for velocity and compliance.
Drive CI/CD standards and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption across teams.
Run cloud cost as a managed portfolio with visibility and optimization targets.
Oversee observability, SLOs, incident management, and capacity planning across the platform.
Lead multiple engineering teams and managers, focusing on hiring and performance.
