Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional to guide Direct Support Professionals and collaborate with Group Home Managers to deliver high-quality, person-centered services in residential settings.

You will coach and mentor staff, oversee daily operations, and promote independence and community inclusion through compassionate leadership and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Minimum 3 years of Direct Support Professional experience with individuals with behavioral needs.
• Must pass state and federal background checks.
• Must pass required drug screenings.
• Must complete pre-employment physical and PPD testing.
• Must complete orientation and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Group Home Managers to ensure high-quality services and compliance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Direct Support Professionals.
• Support daily residential operations in a safe, person-centered environment.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living and independent living skills.
• Support health, wellness, and personal care needs.
• Facilitate community integration through outings and social activities.
• Develop budgeting, money management, communication and relationship skills.
