Anixter Center in Chicago, IL is hiring a Team Lead DSP for Community Integrated Living Arranged (CILA) homes. You will supervise daily operations, maintain activity schedules, ensure safety, and document procedures while guiding staff and supporting residents.

The role emphasizes on-the-job training, resident independence, and strong communication with residents, families, and colleagues. Requires a high school diploma or GED; DSP cert preferred; CPR/First Aid certifications to be obtained

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• DSP certification is preferred and must be obtainable within six months of employment.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification must be obtainable within six months of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain daily documentation of CILA home responsibilities.
• Develop household activity schedules and town hall meetings with team.
• Maintain safety documents, drills, temperature checks, and inspections.
• Provide staff training as assigned by the manager.
• Assist in onboarding trainings and track daily checklists in the EHR.
• Support residents’ daily living activities and independence.
• Administer medications following policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with residents, families, staff, and Disability Leaders.
• Ensure professional behavior and a clean, safe work environment.
