Community Services, Inc. (CSI) is hiring a Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP) to support individuals with disabilities in Forest Grove. This day shift role runs Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, offering 40 hours per week and comprehensive benefits.

You will lead care, promote independence, document finances, attend appointments, and collaborate with a diverse team to deliver person-centered services while following all regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• One year of prior experience as a DSP.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Lead DSP positions require a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable background check.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing life skills such as communication, self-care, and household management.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, social events, recreational activities, and other outings.
• Assist in the management of personal finances and review of documentation for the individuals in care.
• Lead DSPs share on-call responsibilities with the location supervisor.
• Provide person-centered services and advocacy in positive, life-enriching environments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, families, and case managers.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to regulations, policies, and procedures governing services to individuals with disabilities.
