Community Services, Inc. in Forest Grove, OR is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals for a swing shift (Wednesday–Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM), 32 hours per week, full-time with great benefits.

As a DSP you will provide hands-on support, promote independence, document progress, encourage choice, and work with families and teams to help individuals with disabilities participate in the community.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• No experience required—we’ll train you.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record preferred for day and swing positions
• Acceptable background check

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, household routines, and community involvement.
• Encourage choice, decision-making, self-advocacy, and confidence in everyday activities.
• Assist individuals in developing life skills that promote independence.
• Build positive, respectful relationships based on dignity, trust, and person-centered support.
• Follow individualized support plans and document progress and services provided.
• Communicate effectively with families, team members, and other professionals to promote coordinated support.
