Job summary

Community Services, Inc. (CSI) in Forest Grove, OR, is seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional for the day shift (Wed–Sat, 6:00 am–4:00 pm). The LDSP helps individuals with disabilities gain independence and provides person-centered supports in daily living and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in developing life skills and daily living tasks.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, events, and outings.
• Assist with personal finances and review documentation for participants.
• Share on-call responsibilities with location supervisor.
• Provide person-centered services and advocacy in supportive environments.
• Implement behavior plans and promote positive social interactions.

Among other things, you will:* Support individuals in developing life skills, such as communication, self-care, and household management.* Accompany individuals to appointments, social events, recreational activities, and other outings.* Assist in the management of personal finances and review of documentation for the individuals in your care.
