Job summary

ICF International is seeking Direct Operations Case Coordinators to lead a team of Case Coordinators working with ORR care provider staff and federal staff to make recommendations for the release and transfer of unaccompanied children, and to provide related case consultations to support best interests of children in ORR custody.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or a social science-related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in social work or a social science-related discipline with 8+ years of post-degree experience.
• Non-qualifying bachelor's degree with 10+ years of post-degree child welfare experience.
• 1+ year supervisory experience.
• 1+ year reviewing case files and documenting information from multiple sources.
• English/Spanish bilingual.
• Tier 2 Security Clearance or ability to secure such clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate Case Coordinator coverage at all provider sites within assigned geographic area.
• Provide supervision and operational oversight of assigned Case Coordinator team.
• Provide guidance and technical assistance related to Case Coordinator duties and ensure tasks are completed in line with policies and high standards of care.
• Conduct regular site visits at provider sites as part of Case Coordinator oversight.
• Serve as primary point of contact for government and care provider staff in geographic area of assignment.
• Elevate operational concerns to ORR staff and ICF project leadership.
• Other duties related to case coordination goals for unaccompanied children’s safe and timely release and related ORR needs.
