Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking an experienced Restaurant Expeditor to manage dinner service flow and ensure courses are delivered correctly. You will coordinate between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, verify allergy and dietary notes are applied, and ensure dishes meet presentation standards.

Responsibilities include calling in orders, directing runners, and maintaining a stocked Expeditor station. Flexibility with schedule and adherence to restaurant policies are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food and beverage experience required or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact between front-of-house and back-of-house.
• Receive order tickets from servers and call them in to kitchen.
• Ensure allergies and dietary restrictions are highlighted on order tickets and communicated to kitchen staff.
• Fire courses with chef at appropriate time.
• Direct food runners when to pick up dishes and where to deliver them.
• Ensure food runners have memorized table and seat numbers for each dish leaving the kitchen.
• Ensure plates leaving the kitchen meet presentation, freshness, and temperature standards.
• Ensure orders adhere to dietary restrictions and are complete before service.
