Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Dining Server to support daily dining operations, model hospitality, service excellence, and maintain dining room standards for residents and guests.

You will provide dining and table service, train new servers on service steps, assist residents with menu selections, ensure proper dining room set‑up and cleanliness, and maintain side work and opening/closing checklists.

Qualifications

• Seasoned hospitality or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to train and supervise servers.
• Strong knowledge of menu items and dietary considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and table service according to Sunrise standards.
• Train new servers on service steps and expectations.
• Assist residents with menu selections and take accurate meal orders.
• Ensure dining room set-up, reset, and cleanliness.
• Maintain side work, opening, and closing checklists.
• Monitor table presentation and dining decorum standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support special events and Bistro operations.
