Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Lead Server to create exceptional dining experiences for our senior residents. You will provide friendly, professional service while addressing dietary needs and personal preferences, and you will support a warm and inclusive dining atmosphere with select supervisory duties.

The role emphasizes supervising front‑of‑house staff, coordinating service flow, and assisting with events to ensure smooth meals in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals are served according to residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
• Ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all residents, serving food and beverages with a smile.
• Prepare the dining room before each meal by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• In the absence of the Culinary Director, direct the service flow and supervise all front‑of‑house staff.
• Assist with scheduling and section assignments.
• Assist with special events, including setup, breakdown, and service flow.
• Monitor all food handling procedures while providing a safe and comfortable work environment for all restaurant staff
• Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages.
• Ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
