Job summary

Rose Senior Living Beachwood is seeking a hospitality-focused Dining Room Lead Server to join our culinary team. This role provides full-scope, hands-on serving duties within the community, with responsibility for supervising the dining room in the absence of the Dining Room Manager.

You will coordinate resident and guest seating, schedule staff, train teammates, manage meal counts and reservations, and ensure a welcoming, professional dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dining room area and server stations when Dining Room Manager is absent.
• Coordinate seating of residents and guests.
• Schedule stations and assignments for staff to maintain standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and ensure safety procedures.
• Record meal counts and reservations; operate POS system.
• Collaborate with Dining Room Manager on status and communication.
• Mentor and train other servers in service.
