MANSCAPED® is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer with deep expertise in Shopify, React, and eCommerce to shape customer‑facing experiences globally. You will drive the Digital Technology Roadmap, collaborate across teams, and deliver high‑impact features with accessibility and performance at the forefront.

The role requires 8+ years of frontend experience, strong React and TypeScript skills, and familiarity with Netlify/CI‑CD in large, high‑traffic environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of production-grade frontend experience.
• Experience delivering frontend applications at scale in global/high-traffic environments.
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, especially React.
• Experience using Netlify for hosting and CI/CD.
• Strong TypeScript skills and clean, reliable code.
• Experience with APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with React Testing Library for testing quality.

Responsibilities

Who We’re Looking For

Reporting to the Lead Principal Engineer, Digital Consumer Experience, we are seeking a versatile Senior Front End Engineer with deep expertise in Shopify, React, and eCommerce. This role will play a key role in shaping and delivering world‑class, customer‑facing experiences on a global scale. The ideal candidate will help execute MANSCAPED®’s Digital Technology Roadmap, driving enhancements across our Shopify ecosystem while delivering seamless, high‑impact digital experiences. This role will collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for optimization, elevate our technical processes, and foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain customer‑facing eCommerce experiences that are visually stunning, performant, and user‑centric.
• Create and present architecture diagrams that clearly communicate technical direction and system design for both new features and broader platform initiatives.
• Champion accessibility and performance best practices across all user experiences.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that meets both technical standards and business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support and mentor fellow engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing to foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience writing production‑grade code, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Demonstrated success in delivering frontend applications at scale, especially in global or high‑traffic environments.
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.
• Experience utilizing frontend deployment platforms like Netlify for hosting and CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and event‑driven design principles.
• Proven experience working with APIs and integrating with complex backend services.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript with a commitment to writing clean and reliable code.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as React Testing Library to ensure high code quality and robustness.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with great attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical ideas clearly to both technical peers and non‑technical stakeholders.
