Job summary

Allstate Northern Ireland Limited is seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager for our Container Platform. You will own the Kubernetes-based platform lifecycle, define roadmaps, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes across data centers and cloud environments.

You will lead discovery, manage backlogs, and balance feature delivery with security, compliance, and vulnerability management while mentoring other teams in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in new product or technology development in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with PaaS or container orchestration across Kubernetes (RKE2, EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Solid Kubernetes concepts and kubectl command experience.
• Experience with multi-cloud services across providers.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and immutable infrastructure.
• Passion for technology products and driving innovation.
• KPI-driven with accountability to meet goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication; present to teams/leaders.
• Agile ceremonies and methodologies proficiency (sprints, story writing, point systems).
• Ability to lead across technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, time management and organizational skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and self-directed problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Create, drive and execute product strategy for expanding Kubernetes container platform.
• Define a comprehensive product roadmap prioritizing features and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define success criteria and needs.
• Navigate complex container tech and inform product decisions.
• Decompose problems into work items and prioritize by value and risk.
• Develop internal/external communication to raise awareness and adoption.
• Define and manage metrics to measure success and inform strategy.
• Engage in discovery to validate assumptions and direction.
• Own lifecycle management and timely updates with vulnerability control.
• Balance feature delivery with lifecycle management to reduce risk.
