Job summary

Allstate Private Limited is seeking a Container Platform Digital Product Manager to define, deliver, and manage the lifecycle of our Kubernetes-based container platform across data centers and cloud environments. You will own the product vision, drive discovery, and prioritize the backlog to maximize platform value.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership, collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to translate complex container & cloud concepts into actionable work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in new product or technology development in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Platform as a Service or container orchestration across multiple Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts and ability to run kubectl commands.
• Solid understanding of cloud services across multiple providers.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code and immutable infrastructure concepts.
• Clear passion for technology products and ability to identify innovation opportunities.
• Experience operating in KPI-driven environments with accountability for outcomes.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to a product development team.
• Proficiency in agile ceremonies and methodologies (iterations, story writing, points, refinements).
• Ability to lead across technical and non-technical teams to implement initiatives.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, time management and organizational skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity and proactive problem-solving.
• Self-directed and proactive in addressing issues.

Responsibilities

• Create, drive and execute product strategy for expanding Kubernetes container platform.
• Develop a comprehensive product roadmap prioritizing platform features and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define success criteria and understand needs.
• Navigate complex container technologies to inform product decisions.
• Decompose problems into manageable work items and prioritize by value and risk.
• Develop internal and external communications to boost awareness and adoption.
• Define metrics to measure success and inform strategy.
• Engage in discovery/test & learn to validate assumptions and direction.
• Own lifecycle management ensuring stack components are updated without impacting hosted apps.
• Balance feature delivery with lifecycle management to reduce risks.
