Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a 3D dimensional inspector for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on 3D inspection using ZEISS INSPECT, interpreting GD&T per ASME Y14.5, and supporting engineering with analysis and documentation. Onsite in Greenville, SC, with potential off-shift coverage as needed.

The candidate will generate inspection programs, train operators, and provide daily shop-floor support for 3D scanning and data review, contributing to quality and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dimensional inspection experience, or 6+ years with HS diploma.
• Experience using ZEISS INSPECT/GOM for 3D inspection and analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

Responsibilities

• Generate, maintain, and verify Blue Light inspection programs using ZEISS INSPECT 3D software.
• Provide 3D analysis support to Manufacturing Engineering and trainer for new processes and changes.
• Daily shop-floor support for 3D scanning, program execution, troubleshooting, and inspection data review.
• Develop and maintain workstation instructions, methods, and documentation for 3D scanning processes.
• Support process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost for 3D scanning.
• Communicate with engineering, quality, operations, and inspection team members to resolve issues.
• Work independently and in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Adapt to a fast-paced production environment with continuous improvement.
