Job summary

STR Sensors Division seeks a Digital Hardware Engineer to support development, integration, and demonstration of complex electronic systems. You will lead prototype hardware efforts and collaborate with a dynamic engineering team on digital circuit cards and modules for radar, EW, and signal processing applications.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and hands-on digital circuit design experience.
• Experience defining digital interfaces and clocking for FPGAs/SoCs.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design complex high-speed digital circuit card assemblies for multiple platforms.
• Lead small multi-disciplinary teams to design, build, test hardware systems.
• Quantify goals, objectives, metrics, dependencies, and risks to guide work.
• Support test and troubleshooting of digital modules and sub-assemblies.
• Perform signal- and power-integrity analysis and define constraints.
• Generate/test procedures, drawings, specs, and reports.
• Conduct performance trade studies and simulations to verify requirements.
• Interface with sponsors and suppliers as needed.
• Mentor peers and junior engineers.
