Job summary
Company Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Digital Electronics Circuit & Unit Hardware Design Engineer (Lead or Senior) to join the Space Digital Products & Electronics team. You will design and implement digital circuitry that drives satellite functionality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data processing.
This role offers exposure to satellites, ISS projects, disruptive computing, avionics, missiles and autonomous
Qualifications
- BS in engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program.
- 5+ years in Digital Electronics / Digital Circuits.
- Experience with digital, analog and power electronics.
- Experience with firmware or hardware integration.
- ABET accreditation preferred in USA.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop state-of-the-art digital circuitry for aerospace applications.
- Define requirements, interfaces, modeling, testing, and verification.
- Provide technical production and test support for electronic products.
- Lead architectural and detailed designs aligned with requirements.
- Coordinate lifecycle engineering support and supplier engagement.
- Plan research projects for future product concepts.
- Work with minimal direction.
