Job summary

Qualis LLC is seeking a full-time Hardware Engineer to contribute to Space Domain and Missile Warning radar projects in Colorado Springs, CO. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering cutting-edge radar hardware solutions and rapid, high-value results.

You will work in a hybrid development setting, balancing traditional waterfall practices with Agile feedback loops to bring designs into production while addressing obsolescence and standards compliance.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience with Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 2 years of experience with MS Degree.
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience with government customers including the USAF and USSF.
• Understanding of Military and Industrial standards governing hardware design and related processes.
• Familiar with product lifecycle and applying technical standards to solve problems.
• Experience with design, integration, and transitioning products from development to production, and obsolescence management.
• Experience creating Trade Studies and analyzing technical data.
• Experience deploying hardware-based products to operational USAF/USSF sites is a plus.
• Experience with Ground Based radars (EG and UEWR systems) is a plus.
• Current DoD Secret clearance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• The Hardware Engineer will work within a multi-discipline team addressing customer needs for SDA and MW radars.
• Provide program support in a hybrid development environment balancing waterfall and agile practices.
• Communicate effectively, work independently, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Assist in transitioning hardware from development to production and managing obsolescence.
