Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced Software Systems Engineer for Industry 4.0 initiatives. You will design, develop, and deploy Ignition-based IIoT solutions, analyze data, and support digital factory projects end-to-end.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree and 5+ years of related experience, with strong skills in SQL, Python, C#/.NET, HTML5, JSON, and dashboarding. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA development using SQL, Python, C#/.NET, HTML5, JSON.
• Proficiency in scripting and dashboarding.
• Experience with Azure DevOps services or similar Agile PM tools.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts: connectivity, IIoT, data integration.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and visualize insights.

Responsibilities

• Execute Ignition application development projects for IIoT and factory use.
• Connect manufacturing equipment to IIoT/OT networks and set protocols.
• Develop analytics reports and visualization tools; ensure data integrity.
• Analyze large data sets and support digital thread implementation.
• Travel approximately 10% to support projects.
