Nashville Public Radio seeks a talented digital news editor to lead our online presence, newsletter, and social voice. You will guide reporters and editors on web storytelling, audience-first workflows, and audience growth across NashVillager and other platforms.

You will lead a small team, write stories and newsletters, and shape our digital strategy to better serve Middle Tennessee communities and reflect our diverse audience.

Qualifications

• Collaborative spirit and excellent communication across teams.
• Passion for reaching new audiences and underserved communities.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills.
• Proven excellence in online storytelling and editorial judgment.
• Strong sense of visual layout; graphic design is a plus.
• Interest in and comfort with web technologies, including HTML.

Responsabilités

• Serve as digital news editor for Nashville Public Radio, leading web presence and newsletter strategies.
• Lead homepage and NashVillager voice, shaping tone across platforms.
• Plan with reporters to polish web stories for digital audiences.
• Oversee NashVillager, guiding daily coverage and audience engagement.
• Manage direct reports and coordinate cross-department collaboration.
