Pole/Zero in West Chester, OH is seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer Lead to head a team responsible for RF interference mitigation products. You will design embedded control algorithms, develop FPGA/CPLD-based solutions, and guide hardware and firmware development across R&D and manufacturing test.

The role requires a US citizen with a BS degree and 6+ years of embedded experience, including VHDL/Verilog and MATLAB. Leadership and agile firmware practice are highly valued.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• 6+ years developing embedded control systems.
• BSEE or BSCE from an accredited college.
• Experience in FPGA/CPLD design and VHDL/Verilog.
• Embedded firmware development using C/C++ and Assembly.
• Experience with agile firmware development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Digital Design Engineers for RF mitigation products.
• Design and develop embedded control algorithms and hardware schematics.
• Coordinate internal R&D and manufacturing test activities.
• Mentor engineers and drive code reviews and design reviews.
• Ensure firmware compliance to applicable standards.
