Job summary

Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH seeks a Digital Design Engineer to develop and support control systems for RF interference mitigation products. You will work on embedded firmware, FPGA/CPLD design, and mixed-signal hardware, collaborating across engineering teams to ensure robust, producible solutions.

The role requires 4–10 years in embedded control systems, a BSEE/BSCE, and US person status.

Qualifications

• Embedded firmware development using C/C++ for microcontrollers.
• FPGA/CPLD design and VHDL/Verilog coding for embedded apps.
• Experience with analog and digital electronic systems.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Embedded C/C++ coding, compiling, debugging, and integration with digital hardware.
• Develop embedded control algorithms, architecture, and code.
• FPGA/CPLD design and VHDL coding, simulation, and synthesis for embedded apps.
• Design schematics with programmable logic, microcontrollers, analog/digital interfaces, and DC/DC converters.
• Involve in hardware and firmware development phases from architecture to production support.
• Test firmware for conformance using hardware and test equipment.
