Qualifications

• Strong expertise in RF system design including filters, amplifiers, impedance matching.
• Proficiency with RF modeling and simulation tools (AWR Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS, CST).
• Experience with mixed-signal PCB design, RF layout, and signal integrity.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC, thermal management, environmental qualification.
• Familiarity with software/firmware interactions in embedded systems.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF system architectures, block diagrams, and subsystem specs considering cost, schedule, and manufacturability.
• Design, simulate, and analyze RF/mixed-signal circuits, including filters, amplifiers, matching networks.
• Perform system-level modeling, trade studies, and performance analyses to optimize designs.
• Define and execute validation, characterization, and test plans for reliability.
• Collaborate with RF, PCB, and Mechanical designers to optimize layout, thermal, EMI/EMC, and producibility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across schematic, layout, assembly, integration, and test.
• Support proposals with technical solutions, architectures, and cost estimates.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and PM teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and promote best practices.
