Job summary

Pomeroy Living in Michigan is seeking a Registered Dietitian to bridge the kitchen and clinic, providing expert nutritional guidance and coaching to residents. You will participate in menu planning with the Chef, complete MDS assessments, and coach dietary staff across two facilities in Rochester Hills and Sterling Heights.

You will collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care, ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor meal quality while developing individualized

Qualifications

• Must hold a Michigan RD licensure and be registered and licensed to practice as a dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics/Nutrition.
• 3+ years of clinical experience; 1–2 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure timely, accurate completion of the dietary portion of MDS, RAP, and Resident Care Planning; maintain descriptive progress notes.
• Monitor meal service to ensure nutritious, well-prepared and palatable meals per menus and physician diet orders.
• Assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop individualized nutrition plans, and provide counseling on healthy eating and disease management.
