• Must possess a CDM certificate or DSS license.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in food services for a nursing facility or hospital.
• Received training in food management.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and oversee the dietary department.
• Collaborate with all departments and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supervise, staff, and train dietary personnel.
• Ensure staff adhere to sanitation, safety, and procedural guidelines.

Skills

Effective communication skills

Proficient in food procedures

Ability to move throughout the day

Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs to a height of 5 feet

Education
