Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician I at our Miami location. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, lead by example, and mentor others while working with Penske's cutting-edge maintenance tech.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications (preferred).
• CDL preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• DOT/OSHA safety policy compliance.
• Willing to travel within the district.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools/technologies to log and complete repairs.
• Learn new skills through Penske training.
• Work on other projects as assigned.
