Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician I in Manassas, VA for a 2:30pm–11:00pm shift. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a varied fleet, mentor others, and work with advanced maintenance tech.

Qualifikationen

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Specialized training in engines, transmissions, differentials; ASE and 608/609 preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Ability to follow DOT/OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills; customer-service oriented.

Aufgaben

• Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision and timely.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, and related components.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools/tech to log, research and complete repairs; run basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Take on other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
