Penske is seeking an experienced Technician in Elizabethtown, KY. As Technician I, you will lead at your location, perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment, and mentor others while learning from your manager.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Doing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision.
• Repairing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Keeping work area clean and safe.
• Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs.
