Job summary

Transdev in Statesboro, Georgia is seeking a Lead Diesel Technician to supervise and coordinate a diesel technician team, oversee diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel technician.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize the workload of the diesel technician team, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in diesel vehicles and equipment.
• Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies to support maintenance while minimizing waste.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and related components.
• Coach and monitor members of the work team.
