WIN Waste Innovations in Worcester, MA is seeking a Lead Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet under limited supervision. You will diagnose vehicles, interpret reports, document work, and mentor junior technicians while upholding OSHA safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 4 years of related maintenance or 6 years of related repair, and a valid driver’s license. Join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and environmental stewardship.

Formación

• Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or GED certification and 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR (2) 6 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
• Valid driver license.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Reads and interprets Vehicle Condition Reports and repair orders.
• Communicates with supervisor and equipment operators for clarification of maintenance needs.
• Completes paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounts for applied times.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards.
• Trains and develops junior technicians.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
