Maverick Corporation is seeking a Head Fleet Mechanic to ensure the reliable operation of our diesel fleet and equipment in Boston, MA. The HFM inspects, repairs and maintains diesel engines and vehicles, performs maintenance tasks, and creates work orders while keeping detailed service logs to support safety and performance standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of diesel experience, and proficiency with diagnostic tools and fleet-management software.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical diesel program preferred.
• 5+ years diesel mechanic experience with strong engine knowledge.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and hand/power tools.
• Familiarity with fleet management software for work orders, PM tracking, parts ordering.
• CDL a plus; valid driver's license required.
• Drug & alcohol and background checks required.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and repair diesel engines and vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and component overhauls.
• Create and update work orders and maintain service logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Communicate repair progress with supervisors and clients.
• Stay current with diesel technology and participate in training.
• Perform inspections and tests to verify repairs meet standards.
