Zusammenfassung

Patriot Disposal Services is hiring a Mechanic: Maint to lead from the front and keep our fleet in peak condition. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered waste trucks and heavy equipment, including rear-load, front-load, and roll-off units.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, and ensure safety standards are met. You’ll work with a team to prioritize repairs, maintain records, and keep downtime to a minimum.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with waste management or truck fleets.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and air brake systems.
• Experience using diagnostic, hand, and power tools to complete repairs.
• CDL is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in diesel mechanics preferred.
• Lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and ability to track multiple repair projects.
