A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Northeast, MD shop.

The role focuses on maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our heavy-duty fleet of Class 8 trucks, with emphasis on proactive maintenance and safety. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on experience, owns a complete set of heavy truck tools, and possesses vocational or technical diesel training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshooting and repairing brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnosing and performing necessary repairs to the engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems
• Inspecting and replacing general components as required

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 1st shift Lead Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Northeast, MD shop. This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet.
