Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, skilled 1st shift Lead Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Northeast, MD shop.

This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company's fleet. Earn $30-$45 per hour with a $3.00 lead differential; weekly pay and comprehensive benefits including vacation, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• Complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational/Technical training in diesel/heavy-duty vehicle experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a "can-do" attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.
