Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking an experienced 1st shift Lead Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team at our Burlington, VT shop.

This role requires technical skill with heavy duty trucks and is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing the company’s fleet. Earn $30-$45 per hour based upon experience and skillset, with a $3.00 lead differential, and weekly pay. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks.
• A complete set of hand tools for heavy truck repair.
• Vocational or Technical Training in diesel/heavy‑duty vehicle experience; HS Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow your abilities.
• Ability to work independently with a “can‑do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general repairs on Class 8 trucks.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air systems, electrical components, suspension systems, etc.
• Diagnose and perform repairs to engine, electrical, and exhaust after‑treatment systems.
• Inspect and replace general components as required.
