Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an experienced RN Charge Nurse to lead the dialysis team, direct patient care staff, and coordinate with physicians. You will ensure safe, compliant care and oversee staffing, training, and performance feedback.

The role requires nursing licensure, dialysis experience, and supervisory skills. Travel between facilities may be needed; a comprehensive benefits package is provided including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with RN licensure.
• Minimum nursing experience with dialysis knowledge preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to direct patient care staff.
• Participate in department staffing, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
• Coordinate Charge Nurse duties with staff RNs in relief capacity.
• Monitor patient care, administer medications per physician orders.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, OSHA, and quality assurance meetings.
• Educate patients and families about dialysis therapy and care plans.
