Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead direct patient care staff in a dialysis setting. You will ensure safe, quality outcomes and coordinate with the Facility Administrator and Staff RNs.

The role requires RN licensure, at least 12 months nursing experience with dialysis exposure, supervisory skills, and CPR certification. Travel between facilities may be required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of nursing experience, plus 6 months of specialized dialysis care experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Certified in CPR or completed CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance to direct patient care staff and participate in performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Coordinate Charge Nurse duties with Staff RNs and supervise documentation of patient information.
• Attend monthly Quality Assurance meetings and assist with department operations as needed.
• Assist with staff training, scheduling and disciplinary actions when appropriate.
